Alaska Airlines Maintenance Facility Renovations

Alaska Airlines needed both design and construction services for its maintenance facility at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. To date, we have been responsible for over $27 million in on-going construction for remodels and additions to modernize this 205,000 SF maintenance complex. The complex houses 24/7 critical operations including Alaska’s fleet-wide engineering/maintenance records, and an advanced storage and parts distribution center. It also houses an extensive shop and lab space, which includes avionics and wire shops, composite shops, engine build-up shops, and non-destructive testing labs. We also completed a seismic upgrade to the 84,500 square-foot maintenance hangar along with the 60,000 square-foot ‘Connector’ shops building. The latter project earned ECH an ACEC “Exceeding Customer Expectations” award.
